Redbud is a high energy dance band out of the Ukiah area. Playing since Autumn 2000, Redbud has many original tunes - rock, pop, some blues, reggae, ska, punk, surf, as well as their own renditions of a wide repetoire of rock favorites.

Redbud consists of Yoli Rose, lead singer and rhythm guitarist, Gary Pedroni on lead guitar and back up vocals, Bob Dress on bass and vocals, and, Tom Gorton or Frankie Robletto, on drums and vocals.

Redbud has played quite a number of local gigs, private parties, Shanachie Pub in Willits, Ukiah Brewing Company, Potter Valley Cafe, Blue Lakes Lodge, Club 7-11, the Ukiah Airport event, the Pastels in the Plaza , Downtown Joe's in Napa, etc. They were winners in the K-WINE Homegrown Tones radio contest two years in a row.

Redbud recorded two CDs of original tunes, “Smoke & Mirrors,” and their latest "Feels So Good". They are working on their third CD.

Redbud’s songs have varied topics, including relationships, love, sex, emotions, consumerism, dreams, nature, travel, spaceships, redemption, insomnia...even one entitled “Nothing at All”. Many of the songs have been collaborations between bandmembers.

Redbud has a lot of fun writing songs and playing music, and that radiates to those who listen and dance to the music.
